The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has directed her students to embark on a public holiday.

According to the memo made available to Press Council, the reason for the short holiday, which shall commence from 23rd of December, 2022, to 3rd of January, 2023, is to allow students participate in the forthcoming Christmas and New Year celebration.

While addressing the Biometrics Capturing, which had earlier been scheduled to commence on the 28th December, 2022, the memo also disclosed that the capturing exercise has been postponed till Tuesday, 3rd January.

“Meanwhile, Biometric capturing that was earlier slated for December 28th, 2022 has been postponed to commence on 3rd January, 2023.”- the memo stated.

Concerned students who are yet to pay their tuition fee are also implored to complete their registrations before resumption.

“Please note that only students that had fully paid the mandatory tuition fee for 2022/2023 Academic Session and had fully registered would be eligible to collect the processed Identity Card”, the memo warned

The management however, wish the students Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.
