The thrilling match between the Accountancy Department and the Art and Design Department started at exactly 10:40am, on the main pitch, North Campus.
Barely 25 minutes of play, the Accountancy Department took the lead as they scored their first goal of the match, and first goal of the tournament, with a header from a right-side cross.
Both teams made wise use of the pitch in the second half of play, but all shots on target were prevented by both goalkeepers to silence the breakthrough of celebrations from the fans and crowds.
The entertaining match, which ended at exactly 12:07pm had the overall score to be a goal to nil in favour of the Accountancy Department.
