Following her thorough investigation, the Students’ Representative Council, of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has indefinitely suspended the Financial Secretary of the Students’ Union Financial Secretary, Comr. Okelade Korede M. over misconducts and others.
The legislative council of the institution, pronounced the indefinite suspension of Comr. Okelade Korede during its plenary session held on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at Senate House.
The Council stated that Okelade has violated Section 16 sub-section 5(f) of the Student Union Code.
The council asked Okelade to submit all the union’s properties in his possession to her clerk.
Allegations leveled against Okelade are negligence of duty, abolishment of constitution provision, misrepresentation of the union image, abuse of office among others.
