The long-anticipated Students’ Union Executive Manifesto took place earlier today, 11th September 2024, hosted by Press Council, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, at Reiz FM 101.9, North Campus.
The event was broadcast live on all Press Council social media platforms and was well moderated by Fayomi Busola Racheal and Gbadebo Olademeji Emmanuel. The manifesto session began with one of the moderators welcoming all viewers and listeners tuning in from the comfort of their homes, urging them to stay engaged and submit questions for the candidates.
All twenty-one candidates for the Students’ Union Executive positions presented their manifestos, while students submitted their questions in the comment sections. Those who could send in their questions had the opportunity for them to be addressed during the session. After the manifesto session, the two Presidential candidates were invited for the Presidential Debate, during which they outlined their plans if elected as President.
Present at the event was the Reiz FM General Manager, Mrs. Bolatito Joseph; The Dean, Students’ Affairs The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Mr. Makinde John; Press Council Executives; and the Students’ Union Executive candidates.
