The National Association of Osun State Students, The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter sequel to the election conducted on the 17th of August 2024, has announced through it’s Electoral Committee, it’s new executives for the 2024/25 academic session.
The NAOSSEC, headed by Com. Olatunji Oluwakemisola Faidat announced the result of the concluded election to favour Adejumo Adewale with the total vote of 64 votes, making him emerge as the President along with the others elected executives positions.
According to the committee Chairperson, the NAOSS 2024 accreditation was held on the 16th August, 2024 and the requirements for accreditation were school fee receipt, NAOSS receipt, active/valid Gmail through which they received codes and only present students were accredited as stated by the NOASS constitution.
The election which lasted for the hours of 10 to 1pm had a total number of 273 votes were valid and there was 156 voids. According to the Electoral Chairperson, the reasons for void accreditation were stated for them before the accreditation started
and there were still people that violated the accreditation process and there was no way than to void their details, Com. Oluwakemisola opined.
While also speaking with the Press, she said the reasons for void accreditation include blur image/ unclear image of requirements, photoshopped image of requirements, sending of same information multiple times, sending same credentials with different Gmails, not sending credentials as instructed.
