The Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan in an official memorandum released on August 23rd, 2024, has instructed all students residing on campus to vacate hall of residence premises latest by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 27th of August, 2024.
The memorandum issued by Dr. Abiodun Adegbuyi, on behalf of the Dean, Student Affairs is in accordance with the management’s decision to enforce vacation of the hostels, with all facilities being cut off on the said date.
The memo clearly states that any student who fails to comply with this directive will face appropriate sanctions. In ensuring the implementation of this directive, Hall Wardens, Supervisors, and the Chief Security Officer have been directed to enforce the evacuation process.
The Deans and HODs have also been requested to give the memo the widest publicity it deserves.
