One Olutola Ruth who was said to be Taibat’s friend, the lady who was allegedly shot by the polytechnic Ibadan Security officer and an ND 1 student of Science Laboratory Technology, has been reported to have suffered injuries from the gunshot.

This was confirmed by the SUG president, Abdul Azeez Adedeji while speaking to press council correspondence on Saturday as he said Ruth Suffered bruises from the pellets of the bullet but her injuries were minor and she is fine.

However, the school management as well as the student Union Government are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and welfare of the affected students as a number of them donated blood to support the well-being of Taibat.

Taibat Babatunde is fine now and according to a report from the press council crew, she has started speaking as she awaits her final treatments.
