2023: POLY IBADAN JCI SENSITIZES CITIZENS ON PVC AHEAD ELECTION

The Junior Chamber International Nigeria, The Polytechnic, Ibadan Chapter, embarked on a peace walk to sensitize and orientate citizens about Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

The peace walk, which started from Sango garage, saw members engaging citizens through to Polytechnic South campus, and down to the North campus, with members of the organization spreading out to educate citizens on the need to get their voter’s card.

While speaking with our correspondence, the local organization president, Faturoti Toyin, said that the walk was organized with the sole aim of creating awareness on PVC collection and putting the organization in the ears of every student in the institution.

” the walk was organized purposely to awaken the spirit of patriotism among the populace and to as well propagate the gospel of our local organization”- he said.

Faturoti, also appreciated the support of Senator Rotimi Wusu for being a major sponsor of the event. He as well extended his gratitude to the institution’s SUG president, comr. Adedeji Adedamola Abdulazeez, members of the Student Representative council, The Aare Osun indigenes, Comr. Gbolaban Feranmi J as well as President Mass communication department, Kehinde Ayanboade.

In her vote of thanks, the vice president of Project, Iyanu Adeleke appreciated everyone that participated in the walk.

“I want to appreciate everyone for your commitment towards achieving this great success. Your time, money, and effort even when they aren’t convenient, are well appreciated. I love and appreciate you all. Thank you”- she said.

The peace walk had in attendance; representatives from JCI southwest collegiate, The Student Union Government President, comr. Adedeji Adedamola Abdulazeez, Members of the Student Representative council, Aare Osun indigenes, Comr. Gbolaban Feranmi J, President Mass communication, Kehinde Ayanboade, All JCIN, IBPoly Board members, members of the organization amongst others.
