THERE IS NO SECURITY THREAT AT THE POLYTECHNIC, IBADAN; MANAGEMENT DIRECTS RESUMPTION OF NORMAL SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN THE INSTITUTION.

The Authority of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has directed the resumption of normal social activities in line with existing laid down procedures.


Sequel to the Press Release Issued earlier on Sunday 27th June, 2021 by the Institution’s Registrar through the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr Soladoye Adewole. The Press Release stated that the school has closed all public gatherings excluding the ongoing examination due to Insecurity and adhering to Covid-19 measures.

However, according to another latest information related to Press Council’s Correspondent today 27th June, 2021 by the Institution’s PRO, the management has issued another Press Release for social activities to resume in line with the existing protocols. The Press Release signed by the Institution’s Registrar, Mrs Modupe Theresa Fawale.

The Management issued the directive after engaging all organs of the institution and resolved conflicting dates of events, seminars and examination to the satisfaction of all.
With this, all planned activities within the Institution are to continue with strict adherence to the best practices that will promote continued peace on campus.

The Polytechnic Authority also encouraged all officers and students to join hands with the Management in ensuring the sustenance of peace being enjoyed in the Institution.
