Music is an art concerned with combining vocal or instrumental sounds for beauty of form or emotional expression, usually according to cultural standards of rhythm and melody.
Music has always been a source of inspiration, motivation, anytime there is a burden in one’s heart, as we all know “Music is life” and also a medicine that cures internal illness.
Have you wondered that listening to music can benefit you immensely? Student and their young minds are at their peak when they learn something new. Of course, there are different genres of music: Afro-pop, Religion music, Traditional music, etc. All these types have their different impact and lyrics. Some students got depressed, devastated, frustrated, but when they listen to the music of their choice, it makes them happy and feels alive again.
Music has been an instrument that invades capacity without knowing, it helps students too, it also helps to restore energy, serves as learning, maintain the mental disorder. Some students choose music as an option anytime they’re going through trauma.
Listening to good music can make someone a happier person as it releases pleasurable emotions and increases the sense of humour. For most student when studying, background music is helpful as they are more focused and motivated when they’re in a good mood, which helps them study for a long time.
While on the other hands, music can also be distracting. Some memories are meant to be forgotten, but when listening to music, it triggers bad memories. while also, it can increase aggressive thoughts or encourage crime. For instance, nowadays the music students listen to influence them and show in their ways of talking, mode of dressing, their mindset, and some other aspect.
Liistening to bad music hurts human’s thinking or thought. You’ll hear lyrics like “Awon Omo Wobe, Shedibalabala with chants and imitation of scenes and actions of these superstars. Hence, some tends to indirectly teach and preach good indirectly but our society attract more bad influence from these works of entertainment.
Music is good, music is life but good music pays more.
