Following the decision of the Student Union Government to revoke the suspension of the bike men in The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Polytes have kicked against the new agreement released by the Student Union body.
The Release, issued to address the long-term rift and call off the two days suspension of bike men activities on campus has been stiring uproars among students, who see no reason why the Student Union body would once again, conclude on the same prices that has been giving the bike men an avenue to exhibit their awful acts.
It could be recalled that the two days suspension, was as a result of the bike men’s inhumane act and careless attitude in the course of patronage, towards students, whom they ought to serve.
Aggrieved students are left questioning the puzzled decision of the body
“Why did you even stop them from working yesterday, since this price will be the outcome?” a Polyte questioned.
“To be honest with you, the so called price you bring back with no changes on it, is just like you intentionally stress the students today with no positive outcome” he added.
However, as at the time this news is being gathered, students are looking out for more friendly price lists from the Student Union body, or an explanation why they intentionally stressed students on campus yesterday provided they were fighting for the student’s populace and not other interests.
