The Polytechnic Ibadan Student Union Government, under the leadership of Com. Adedeji Abdulazeez has advised all the institution’s students to make use of the school shuttle (buses ) to ease the burden of transportation within and outside the school premises.
This was made known in a statement released by the student Union Government through the office of the Welfare Director, Adekintan Jesking Adedeji.
The statement, enjoin students to make use of the institution’s shuttle for N30 within the school and N50 outside the school premises.
“For students coming from Apete, take a walk down to the SUG junction to board a bus of #30 within the school premises. Those coming from South campus should also make use of the shuttle to convey themselves within the institution.”
“And for students coming from Sango, trek down to the park to board a bus coming inside the school for #50”, the statement reads.
The Union also implored students to shift attentions to school shuttles for affordable and ease flow of transportation, and not prioritize their means of transportation on school bikes alone.
