It was a colorful and adorable moment of felicitations and wishes for the celebration of Christmas in The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The event, which took place on 18th December, 2019 at the Assembly Hall, North Campus of the institution to honour God for the gift of Christ, keeping the institution together as well as for greater opportunities for the institution in future. The event organised by Music Department also had in attendance dignitaries, families, friends, students and visitors .

The institution’s Rector, Professor Kazeem A. Adebiyi, “I believe this year is good , subsequent years will be better”. He therefore advised all stakeholders to never relent on efforts to promote music in the institution as all hands is on deck to have Studio/Music house in the institution very soon. “whatever that can make us be best, we will strive hard to achieve this”, he said

The Head of Department, Music Technology; Mrs Labake Dada, “this is the third edition of it’s kind hence, the institution’s support for this year edition has made it to be a glamorous and colourful event worthy of admonition”, She said.

Accordingly, Santa Claus was displayed giving gifts, the event also featured songs of praise and Christmas carol delivered by the Institution’s music departmental choir, Special Appearances by Music Technology Members of Staff, Dr. Folakemi Jegede and Mrs Folashade Yoloye.

The Registrar thanked the guests for keeping a date with the Rector and other management staff while prayers were said for God to see the institution through in her endeavours.
