TRAGEDY AS YEMI ADENIRAN DIES IN AUTO CRASH

Reknown Oyo state comrade identified with Press Council of The Polytechnic, Ibadan and NANS, Comrade Yemi Adeniran popularly known and addressed as ‘Likedat’ on Thursday morning 19th December, 2019 involved in a terrible auto crash on his way from Abuja after attending the Supreme Court judgement that re-affirmed Engineer Seyi makinde as Governor of Oyo state.

According to Comrade Otunba (a close friend of the deceased), the accident occurred at a location called “Adegbayi” around Ibadan after leaving Abuja to witnessed the Supreme Court judgement between Adelabu and Governor Makinde of Oyo state.

Yemi Likedat who hailed from Ibadan, Oyo state was a graduate of Geology from The polytechnic, Ibadan was a reputable man of dignity with much zeal in elevating young minds in attaining higher heights in life. He’s a role model and also an alumnus of Press Council

Press Council correspondent while speaking with Comrade Otunba Sanni Olorunwa, “On Monday 16th December, 2019, we celebrated his birthday, Today, he is gone!”
“Yemi is gone, this is a big loss for the whole family, friends, colleagues and members of fourth estate thus death is inevitable and his corpse has been laid in mortuary”.

This is shocking! During his lifetime, he’s known for students’ leadership and active participation in journalism.

The entire Press Council of The Polytechnic, Ibadan hereby register their condolences and also pray incessantly to God Almighty to give the family, friends and associates of the deceased the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
