In celebration of the 2022/23 SUE and SRC representatives, the management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has declared Friday, 11th November, 2022, a lecture free day.
According to the memo made available to Press Council, the declaration which was approved by the Rector of the institution, Professor Kazeem Adebiyi, was to enable students attend the Swearing-In ceremony of their newly elected representatives.
Every Full time and DPP student of the institution, is however expected to be Assembly Hall by 10:am on Friday.
“I have the directives to inform you of the approval of the Rector for declaration of lecture free day for Full-Time and DPP students on Friday, 11th November, 2022.”
“This is to enable these students, to attend the 2022/23 Swearing-In Ceremony of the newly elected SUE/SRC ceremony scheduled for that day.” the memo reads.
