A student of the Business Administration Department, Akinleye Pelumi was hit by a land cruiser jeep at Sewage Junction, The Polytechnic Ibadan.
The student was struck this evening while on a bike by a Land cruiser jeep that was reported to have experienced a brake failure.
Pelumi alongside the driver of the said car had been taken to the institution’s health center and reports have it that, they are both responding to treatment.
According to Pelumi’s brother who was with him at the health center, said “His injured leg has been treated and the result of the x-ray is not yet released but his bruises have been taken care of and he is responding well to treatment.
However, the bike man who conveyed Pelumi suffered a serious fracture and was referred to Adeoyo Hospital, ring road for proper attention.
The head of the Department of Business Administration as well as the department’s president alongside representatives from the Student Union Government has gone to pay a visit to victims at the health center
