The Students’ Union of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has charged students representing the institution at the Nigerian Polytechnic Games 2022, to remain focus at the competition.
While addressing the athletes, the General Secretary of the Union, Comrade Wasiu Azeez, charged the students to put their minds together at whatever they do.
Admonishing them not to be distracted, he also assured them that the Union has made provisions for them regarding the coming examination, which will commence while they would be away.
Buttressing the words of the Union, the Sport Director, Comrade Odemakin Taiwo, appreciated the student for showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship in them. He also appreciated the efforts and support of the Union towards the athletes.
In his own words, the Chief Coach of the institution, Dr Akeredolu, appreciated the efforts of the management of the institution, for making it possible for the institution to participate in the competition. He also assured the institution that by the grace of God, the students shall make the institution proud.
