It was a thrilling moment for students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, at the grand opening of the Nigerian Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA), in Owo.
Dressed in an overwhelming apparel, the athletes could not hide their joy as they partake in the opening ceremony.
Present at the ceremony was, King Ajibade Gbadegesin III, the Olowo of Owo; Mrs Theresa Fawale, Registra of the institution; Mr Gani Adebola Ogundahunsi, Rector, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic; Hon. Bamidele Ologun, Ondo State Commissioner for Sport; amongst others.
According to Comrade Odemakin Taiwo, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, would have her first game in the competition tomorrow.
We wish the athletes an excellent spirit of sportsmanship.
