The Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has announced that biometric capturing for student Identity cards will take place from June 24 to June 28, 2024. This was made known in a memo signed by the Deputy Registrar, Student Affairs, Akintunde F.B. (Mrs) dated 20th of June, 2024.
As stated in the memorandum, all students (ND1 to HND2) across all faculties, are required to participate in the biometric capturing as it is a mandatory requirement for the issuance of student ID cards, which are essential for access to various facilities and services within the institution.
The biometric capturing exercise will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, from June 24 – June 28, 2024. All students are encouraged to comply with this directive to avoid any delay or complication in the issuance of their student ID cards.
‘ND 2 and Hnd 2 students must submit the previous ID cards before the collection of new ones, failure to do so will attract a penalty of five thousand naira (#5,000)’, the memo reads.
All ND 1 and HND 1 are implored to strictly follow the arrangement as erring students will be dealt with appropriately.
The exercise will be held at the Assembly Hall, North Campus, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
