In a bid to promote convenience, safety, and community spirit, Campus Colossus, a prominent student-oriented organization on the campus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has partnered with the League of Welfare Directors to offer a complimentary ride service to 300 individuals in the institution, on Thursday, 4th of July, 2024.
The coupon, which is only valid for July 4th, 2024, admits one person for one ride and can be redeemed by presenting it to bike riders instead of cash payment. To ensure transparency, the riders will tear the ticket upon usage, indicating that the ticket has been used. This innovative initiative aims to provide a hassle-free transportation experience for the campus community.

According to the Director of Campus Colossus, Com. Olatunji Olayinka Dolapo; “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Leagues of Welfare Director to bring this special offer to Poly’badan students. We believe that this free ride initiative will not only reduce stress but also foster a sense of unity and shared experience among students and staff.”
To participate, students and staff can contact their Faculty Welfare Directors to get the coupon. The coupons can then be redeemed on July 4th, 2024, by presenting it to the Poly Ibadan SUG bikers.
With this initiative, Campus Colossus and the League of Welfare Directors aimed to make a positive impact on the campus community.
This partnership demonstrates the organization’s commitment to students and staff welfare, and their dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
