The Faculty of Financial Management Studies Students Association, The Polythecnic, Ibadan Led by Com. Tolorulagba Ayobami Joshua organized their first Ramadan Lecture for students ealier today 4th April, 2024 at Ademola Hall, Middle belt of the institution.
The lecture which was themed “The Role of youth in shaping a prosperous future – A call for students” was duly addressed by the Guest Lecturer, Uztaz Awwal Ayobami, the Amir of the Muslim Student Society of Nigeria, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. Present at the events were the school Admission Officer, Dr. Mrs Olajide Sherifat Taiwo, Com. Oyekan Tobiloba, the SUG Presidents, Sen. Folahanmi Adnan, the SRC Speaker, amongst other student leaders.
In the remark of the Guest Lecturer, Amir Uztaz Awwal emphasized on riding of new students on campus in the name of school father, Godfather or Mentor. He also spoke on female students who think coming to school is a freedom which is the major factor destroying the life of youths. And finally, he stated the side effect of encouraging examination malpractice.
During the event, there was also a question and answer session where the audience with the right answers got their various prizes from the organizers.
