The Faculty of Business and Communication Studies Students Association (FABCOMSSA) Led by Comr. Ogunshola Oyinloluwa Micheal has launched their physical projects today, the 8th of April, 2024, at the FBCS Building, North Campus, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
The remarkable project includes; decoration and structuring of FBCS reception, signage in front of the Faculty building (with inscription of the names of Departments under the Faculty), as well as a signage at Ramat Hall junction leading the way to the Faculty building.
The projects which was titled; ‘Rebranding FBCS’, were commissioned by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mrs. Kehinde Faniyi, who in her remark, applauded the FABCOMSSA Executives for a job well done and for making her proud as the Dean of the Faculty. While rounding up her speech, she prayed for more significant achievements during their administration.
In the speech of the FABCOMSSA President, Comr. Ogunshola Oyinloluwa Micheal, who stated the challenges faced before the execution of the projects. ‘”The major challenge was sourcing for funds, and this is why it is compulsory for all FABCOMSSITES to pay their association due”, he added.
He also stated how happy he was for the success of the projects and thankful to almighty God, and promised that students should expect more in terms of events, the FBCS Inter-Departmental speech contest being one of them. While addressing the general students, the President said; “Nothing is unachievable, the moment you start planning, you begin to achieve”, he concluded.
Also present at the events were; Dr. Olusoji Olatunji, the Head of Mass Communication department, Mr F. A. T. Okegbemi, the Head of Procurement and Supply department, the Faculty Officers, the SUE President, Comr. Oyekan Tobiloba, eight members of the League of Presidents amongst other student leaders on campus.
