Today, Monday 15th February,2021 the Students’ leadership of The Polytechnic, Ibadan met together in a congress to deliberate their stance on the ongoing industrial action by the school’s staff and it’s adverse effects on the students academics.
Included in the congress was the Students’ Union Executives and Senators, Departmental and Faculty Presidents and Press Council’s correspondent.

And in the end, it was voted that the management and other parties resolve to resume academic activities in under 72 hours.


It was shared that all other institutions in the state are back in session and have impending examinations. Most of these leaders complained of passing time and expired tenures and seek to appeal to the management, also the striking parties, to resolve their differences and allow the students resume earnestly.
