On Wednesday, 8th of April, 2024, National Association of Science and Technology Students (NASTES), The Polytechnic, Ibadan, in collaboration with the Students Union Government (SUG) and JobberMan, organized a Soft skills training session, which was held at the NLT Building, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

The event kicked off with a Welcome Address by the NASTES President, Com. Aloh Emmanuel.
In furtherance of the event, Joy Adepoju, a JobberMan representative, conducted the training session and had every attendee introduce themselves.
Students were provided with baseline questions to answer as part of the introduction process. During the session, Adepoju elaborated on JobberMan’s role as a bridge between employers and employees, while also discussing topics such as; Personal effectiveness, Time management, and the Essentials of a CV, which she mentioned to be; Full name, Abbreviated address, for security purposes, and exclusion of State of origin.
Midway through the training, Dr. O.A. Arẹmu, the NASTES Staff Adviser arrived and spoke briefly, encouraging the students to take the session seriously. The Staff Adviser also expressed gratitude to JobberMan for providing the training and certificates free of charge.
At the conclusion of the program, students were evaluated based on the knowledge imparted, and certificates were awarded to all participants.
All in attendance were also treated to sumptuous refreshment packages.
