Man O’ War, The Polytechnic, Ibadan organized an 8 hours Endurance trek for her members and students of the institution to boost their physical and mental fitness on 4th October, 2019.
The endurance trek which had several patriots from other institutions in attendance started at the Assembly Hall, North campus, and spanned through Eleyele, Akufo village, Lanlate-Eruwa road and ended at the North Campus of the institution.

According to the report gathered by Press Council, despite there was a low turnout of students from the institution, security measures were on ground, and cordial movement and obedience were observed.
While speaking with the Press Council, Patriot Babatunde Bayonle, Commandant Man O’ War, The Polytechnic, Ibadan described the group as builders of the youth, the community and nation at large by forestalling security and promoting normalcy.
He further emphasized on the relevance of Man O’ War, as a voluntary organization, to the The Polytechnic, Ibadan, stating them to be a useful tool in our society. “Students should therefore joined conformed groups like Man O’ War on campus.” He added.

Patriot Falola Olamide Emmanuel, one of the participants from Obafemi Awolowo University, said of the inception of the movement to have started from Obafemi Awolowo University, and then extended to other institutions.
In his interview with the Press Council, Patriot Ghenga, the Commandant of Man O’ War, LAUTECH futher explained the doctrine of the organisation to be a key towards creating a survival spirit in men, and wipe out deviant behaviours of human.
Other institutions that participated in the endurance trek include Man O’ War FUTA, Moor Plantation, and Ibarapa Polytechnic.
