FIBSU PRESIDENT REINSTATED BACK TO OFFICE, PROMISES TO MAKE AMENDMENT.

On September 21st, 2024, The Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union (FIBSU), The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has reinstated Mr. Olasubomi Alli Balogun Joshua as its President, following his suspension earlier this year on July 16th,2024, due to allegations of irregularities and misconduct.

The FIBSU Executive Council announced the decision through an official notification to all FIBSU members. After thorough investigations and consultations with prominent personalities, the association resolved to reinstate the president.

Mr. Joshua pledged to make amends and address the allegations against him. The notification formally marks his return to leadership for the 2023/2024 academic session.

FIBSU thanked members for their understanding and cooperation during the investigation, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and accountability. The reinstatement is expected to restore calm and unity within the student body.
