In a press release, today 17th of March, 2024, signed by the Public Relations Officer of The Polytechnic, Ibadan; Alh. Soladoye Adewole, The Polytechnic, Ibadan has organized a week long farewell programme, to honor the exit of the Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi led administration, which commenced five years ago in the institution.
The programme which will commence on Monday, 18th March, 2024, will capture the Rector and his management team in a farewell interaction with the executives of the House
Unions.
On Tuesday, 19th March, a meeting will hold between the Management and Members of the Board of Studies. The Board of Studies the highest decision-making body on academic affairs in the institution. The Rector who is the Chairman of the Board of Studies will use the occasion to present a special bulletin on his tenure, to the Board of Studies.
On Wednesday, 20th March, the Rector will also be addressing the Congregation which is a body of all University and Polytechnic graduates or allied institutions working in The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The Congregation has two statutory elected representatives on the Governing Council. The body also takes vital decisions in the affairs of the institution.
On Thursday, 21st March, a special farewell church service will be held at the Institution’s official church, The Lord’s Chapel, while on Friday, 22nd March, being the final day, will be the Jumat service that will hold at the Institution’s Central Mosque.
