In a memo released today, Sunday, January 28th, 2024, the Students Union Government of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, led by the President-elect, Com. Oyekan Tobiloba, urges students to complete all registration processes, payment of school fees, and prepare for the upcoming first semester examination.

The first memo of the union since their emergence, emphasizes the mandatory nature of prompt settlement of school fees for the current academic semester, highlighting that failure to do so may result in administrative penalties jeopardizing enrollment status. Additionally, the President-Elect admonished all students of the institution to ensure they register for the required courses for this semester and submit all necessary documents in line with the institution’s guidelines.

Com. Oyekan further urged all students to allocate sufficient time for studying, diligently review course materials, and seek clarification on challenging topics or concepts. He emphasized the importance of utilizing academic resources and support services available on campus to enhance the learning experience.

“I urge each of you to take these matters seriously and prioritize them accordingly. Your proactive cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is essential for academic success and the overall efficiency of our institution’s operations,” the memo further reads.

The memo stresses that; any student with questions or needing clarifications should not hesitate to reach out to relevant bodies in their department.
