WHAT I SEE
When I look into the Mirror
I see Someone who is still Raw
Uncooked, young and not ready to Roar
because no one was going to go Awe
When I look into the mirror
I see A Girl who stands boldly in fear
pretending to be humble
Because she can’t afford to fumble
Grasped by how life isn’t fair
She’s always ready to take Life’s worries with fear
tear out in tears
Prefers to be there
When I look into the mirror
I see a Girl who wears a face mask of Beautiful smile,
Eventually it wears out because of the oceans in her eyes and the real face is exposed.
When I look into the Mirror
I see a lover girl, in love to be loved
who finds pleasure in pleasing others.
Taking pleasure in pleasures that doesn’t please her.
A pleasant pleaser.
A worrisome warrior.
