The morning was mild; it was an entity that encompassed the gentility of the dove and the beautiful serenity of the night. The morning was calm, and it wasn’t, in anyway a reflection of the previous evening.

Consequently, as resumption from the long mid-semester break was slated for Wednesday, May 8, 2019, a few students who came on campus were welcomed into a vast terrain of peaceful atmosphere.

In ensuring steady peace and tranquility on campus for the continuance of the first semester academic activities from the long mid-semester break, the Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has reinforced absolute security on campus. It was ascertained by a few students who confirmed that, apart from the Institution’s Security Department and Aso Guard Operatives who were on duty, additional Security Personnel are available on campus to see to maintaining peace and orderliness.

As earlier reported in a Press Council’s publication, that first semester examination shall commence almost immediately after resumption, students are thereby enjoined to resume on campus for commencement of academic activities as the various logistics that brought about the break have been put in place.

The Polytechnic, Ibadan is revered among its kinds, and has always been in the front line of portraying academic excellence. This, undoubtedly, has been the attributive catalyst that facilitated a swift response to restoring calmness and tranquility to the school environment.

Also, students should note that the reparation fee of #2000 is to be paid on respective channels for school fee payment.
