The National Association of Osun State Student (NAOSS) The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter led by Sen. (Comr.) Jimoh Toheeb Morenikeji, held its Ramadan Lecture and Iftar Session on the 27th of March, 2024, at the Students Union Building, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
The Guest Lecturer, Sheik Muhammadul Awwal Ayobami, the Amir of MSSN, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, who did justice to the topic; “Social Reformation”, spoke about how leaders and government administrations work out successfully, according to the doctrines of Islam.
While lecturing, Sheik Awwal emphasized how a Muslim is expected to live a faithful life. He also stated that all our deeds in life would either end in joy or total regret in the hereafter, depending on the part we choose. “We are expected to be good believers in God, doing all Allah commands and desist from what he forbids, so as not to end up in hell”, he retorted.
Succeeding the lecture, the NAOSS President, Comrade Jimoh Toheeb appreciated everyone for gracing the event, while the Immediate Past President of the association, Com. Oladapo Taofeek, took the closing prayer, as Iftar packages were distributed to attendees.
Also present at the event was the Admissions Officer of the Institution, Dr. (Mrs) Olajide Taiwo, the SUG President, Com. Oyekan Tobiloba, the Immediate Past JCI President, Tiamiyu Harun Opeyemi, and some present and past SUE/SRC members.
