The Students’ Union of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has announced the extension of the ongoing NELFUND registration and ID card biometric capturing exercise for ND2 and HND2 students.
The exercise is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the institution’s Assembly Hall.
This development comes up after several students failed to register, the extension accommodates both fresh applicants and students reapplying for the NELFUND financial support.
All Students are advised to take advantage of this opportunity, as timely registration is essential for accessing the loan.

The Required documents for NELFUND registration include Admission Letter, School ID Card, SUG Payment Teller, Faculty Receipt, Departmental Receipt as well as Indigenous Receipt
It is important to also note that the ID Card Biometric Capturing will resume on the same day for students who are yet to complete the process.
The Requirements which includes, SUG Payment Teller, Faculty Receipt, Departmental Receipt and Indigenous Receipt and both exercises will take place daily at the Assembly Hall from 9:00 a.m.
Students are encouraged to attend promptly and with all necessary documents to avoid delays or complications in accessing institutional services.
