Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has announced the commencement of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, scheduled to hold from Monday, January 19 to Thursday 22, January 22, 2026.
This development was contained in an official internal memo issued by the Directorate of Student Affairs and dated Friday, January 16, 2026. The memo, signed by the Senior Deputy Registrar, Student Affairs, I. F. Olatona, on behalf of the Dean, Student Affairs, was addressed to all students of the institution.
According to the memo, the test will take place at the ICT Centre beside WEMA Bank, Students are informed that only those who have completed their school fees payment and course registration on or before the examination dates will be eligible to participate. The Directorate warned that students who fail to comply with this directive will not be allowed to sit for the CBT.
The examination schedule indicates that on Monday, January 19, ND Faculty of Environmental Studies will write from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by HND Environmental Studies from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., while ND Faculty of Science is slated for 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, January 20, ND I Faculty of Business and Communication Sciences will write from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ND II from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., HND I from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and HND II from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
HND Faculty of Science will start their test on Wednesday, January 21, and it will start by 10:00 a.m. to end by 12:00 p.m., while ND Faculty of Financial Management Studies will continue from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., HND Faculty of Financial Management Studies from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., while Crime Management, FSMH, will write from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The CBT for the Faculty of Engineering will hold on Thursday, January 22, starting from 10:00 a.m.
The Directorate of Student Affairs urged Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and Heads of Units to ensure wide dissemination of the information.
Students are also advised to check the detailed timetable and strictly adhere to their scheduled dates and time.
