Students of The polytechnic, Ibadan have continued to lament over the inconvenience and challenges faced during the just concluded computer based test which started this October at the ICT centre
Various complaints gathered by Press Council confirmed that students find it difficult to write their tests due to late upgrading of the school portal, though report has it that it is as a result of late school fee payment.
A student of Mass Communication department, Oluwafemi in an interview with correspondent said the CBT for this semester was not a successful one, due to the fact that some students were unable to do the CBT because they couldn’t access their portal even though they have paid their school fees which make them not different from those that have not paid.
Furthermore, in another interview with Ajoke, a Local Government and Development Studies student, she was unhappy with the CBT because the page was loading so slow that she couldn’t finish her test.
A supervisor whose name was not disclosed at the ICT Center admonished all students to lodge their complaint to CIDM for further information and better solution.
The Press Council however plead to the Management and Staff of The Polytechnic, Ibadan to keep trying their possible best to ensure that this development is of quality and a stress-free one in subsequent semesters.
