The Board of Studies (BOS) of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has issued a reminder to all students about the closing of the late registration period for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session. The late registration, which commenced on April 18, 2024, is set to close unfailingly by 11:59 p.m. today, April 25, 2024.
The directive which was contained in a memo dated April 24th, 2024, signed by Ayoola O. Labiyi, the Secretary of the BOS, states that no registration will be allowed after the stated deadline. This directive is in line with the academic calendar approved by the BOS during their meeting on March 28, 2024.
“The attention of the Dean and Deputy Registrar, Students’ Affairs, as well as the Students Union Executives, has been particularly drawn to this directive”, the memo reads. This memo serves as a follow-up to the previous memo dated April 16, 2024, which detailed the approved calendar for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session.
Students are urged to take note of this information and act accordingly to avoid any academic inconveniences.
