The Polytechnic, Ibadan, is set to formally welcome its newly admitted students as it holds its matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the 1,000-Seater Lecture Hall, Middle Belt Area, near Wema Bank, and will commence at 10:00 a.m.
According to an official announcement, all matriculating students are required to collect their academic gowns from their respective faculty officers upon presentation of a payment receipt. The sum of ₦2,500, paid at the Bursary Department, covers the rental of the matriculation gown.
Principal Officers, Deans, and Directors of the institution have been directed to arrive at the venue by 9:00 am. to take part in the academic procession.
