The Press Council, The Polytechnic, Ibadan is set to host the 2023 SUG manifesto on Friday, 17th of November, 2023, in partnership with REIZ 101.9 FM—The Polytechnic Ibadan Radio.
This is an upgrade to the former methods used since the inception of digitalized electoral processes in the school, also a debut for the radio station since its launch.
The programme which is set to hold in the studio of REIZ 101.9 FM would also be livestreamed on the official Facebook page and Twitter account of Press Council. Students who are not able to join via the online platforms have the option of tuning their radio to REIZ 101.9 FM.
The directive further states that; only aspirants are to be physically present and no other student is permitted to be at the premises of the radio station on the said day.
The essence of the manifesto is for the aspiring Student Union representatives to present to the student populace, what they have in plan if they are elected, and also for students to be familiar with their choices in the candidates.
All of this is in preparation for the upcoming 2023 SUG elections, which is slated for Tuesday, November 22nd, 2023, at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
