Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan Directs All Cyber Cafe on Campus Closed on Tuesday 7th September, 2021 as STUDENTS’ UNION ELECTION HOLDS.

The Polytechnic, Ibadan Management has directed all cyber cafe for a compulsory day off from the school on Tuesday 7th September, 2021.

According to the internal memorandum released by the Directorate of Students’ Affairs, “this is to inform you that the 2020/2021 Students’ Union Election has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 7th September, 2021”.

The memo further explained that no cyber cafe should open for that day hence, any Cyber Cafe that goes against the directives will be sanctioned accordingly by the management.

Furthermore, the Manifeto due to certain parameters has directed was declared CANCELLED earlier yesterday but this does not affect the election which will come up on the date slated above.

However, the Election into the position of Students’ Union for this Institution holds according to the decision of the management will be conducted online via e-voting.
