The Student Union executives, under the administration of Comrade Oloyede Okiki, has assured the residents of the female hostels in the institution, that the Union would ensure the management fulfills her promise on electricity.
It could be recalled that, following the protests of the students, the management had promised the students stable electricity, which has been manifesting as the institution is now enjoying a good power supply.
However, the Students’ Union executives has assured the students that they would make sure the management of the institution fulfill every of the promises they made to the students.
The President made the declaration during the Union’s courtesy visit to all female hostels on campus, which included, Olori, Olori Annex, and Ramat Halls of Residence.
The President had led his executives to the hostels, to appreciate the students for their support in his emergence as the President of the Union. He also assured the residents that the management of the institution would provide solutions to other issues the residents are facing in the hostel.
While addressing the students, other executives of the Union, enjoined the students to express their grievances through the right channels and not protest.
They also assured the students that the welfarism of the students is the priority of the Union. They however, enjoined the students to always lodge their complaint through their representatives, to the Union’s building, which will be opened as from 15th of November, 2022.
