In an effort to fulfill part of her plans for the 2022/2023 academic session, The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has set to embark on the production of a well dignified and secured institutional Identity cards for both freshers and returning students.
In a statement released through the office of the Deputy Registrar on Monday, the management stated that the perculiarity of the ID cards is to generate students critical information which includes their names, departments, matric numbers and faculties.
According to the statement, students are being advised to pay all their dues and formalise their registrations in order to participate in the registration of the institutional
Students identity cards.
The statement read, “Deans of faculties/heads are earnestly implored to stress the need for both freshers and returning students to urgently pay all the necessary fees and formalise their registrations in order to be able to partake in the registration of their new identity card”
It was also stated that the institution will henceforth regard any old students’ institutional Identity card from this academic session as void.
The statement was distributed to all Faculty Deans, HODs, SUG executives and all other concerned bodies.
