Today, Saturday, May 4th, 2024; the Students’ Union Government, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, issued a memo to all campus halls residents, informing them of the upcoming fumigation process that is to take place in all the hostels on campus.
Students are requested to temporarily vacate their hostels on the evening of Thursday, May 9th, 2024, before fumigation commences and return by 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 12th, 2024.
The memo emphasizes that; residents must secure their belongings in the school hostels before departure, to prevent any loss. Additionally, access to the hostels will be strictly prohibited during the fumigation process for safety reasons.
For the fumigation process to be efficient, students are urged to adhere to the schedule, to ensure a clean and healthy living environment for all.
Well, this is nice.
But when did SUG has the duty of hostel maintenance?
