The Polytechnic, Ibadan. Monday July 28, 2025, came alive as final-year students across all departments officially kicked off their FYB (Final Year Brethren) Week with a stylish display of corporate fashion and unity.

From the South Campus to the bustling North Campus, the atmosphere was electric with excitement, laughter, and a shared sense of accomplishment. Students adorned in suits, smart blazers, formal dresses, and polished shoes walked proudly through lecture halls, administrative blocks, and open spaces, marking the beginning of their farewell celebrations.

It was more than just a themed day, it was a reflection of growth and maturity. Corporate Day showcased more than just fashion. It demonstrated the bond and solidarity among finalists as they exchanged handshakes, smiles, and shared memories. The campus was dotted with photo sessions, video shoots, and joyful moments that captured the essence of togetherness from south gate, to 1,000capacity hall, to music to North assembly hall.

FYB Week continues throughout the week with exciting themed events including Denim Day, Jersey Day, Back to School, Costume Day, and the grand finale, Tungba a day of music, dance, and celebration.
As Day One came to a close, the spirit of unity and joy lingered in the air. For the Class of ’25, this isn’t just the end of a chapter it’s the beginning of a bold, new journey.
