qThe management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has issued a directive mandating all students to complete their biometric capturing for the production of identity cards for the 2025/2026 academic session on or before Friday, 14th November 2025.
This was disclosed in an internal memorandum dated 12th November 2025, from the Dean of Student Affairs, and signed on behalf of the Dean by Dr. Abiodun Adegbuyi, Deputy Registrar, Counselling Unit.
The memo emphasized that only students who complete the biometric exercise within the stipulated period will have their identity cards processed for the session.
To ensure wide dissemination, the directive has been circulated across all faculties, departments, student hostels, and key student bodies including the Students’ Union and the Press Council.
Students have been strongly advised to comply with the deadline, as the identity card remains an essential requirement for academic, administrative, and security related activities on campus.
