The Federation of Ibarapa Students Association, The Polytechnic, Ibadan has inaugurated its first female president at its handling over the event which took place at FB5, North Campus on Saturdays, 18th September, 2021.
The program which started at about 2 pm was opened with an address from the immediate past President of the Association, Com. Theophilus Ifeoluwa (Talented), who appreciated the outgoing members, for their immense cooperation during the course of his tenure.

He further implored the existing members to cooperate with the new president and help her achieve more than his own administration.
Olanrewaju Amidat Olawunmi, the new president expressed her happiness as she became the first female President of FIBSA in the history of the association over 40years of existence.
Amidat continued as she expressed her gladness over the great support she received from the members and also requested that the support continue.
The out-gone executives also advise the newly elected executives and the members at large as they encourage them to foster unity and represent the association properly. Mr. Olaoluwa, the association’s staff adviser implored the members to see beyond the units (7 towns) of Ibarapa land, and shun segregation; “Ibarapa students are known for integrity and never for hooliganism”, Mr. Olaoluwa added.
