ACCOUNTANCY HND 1 STUDENTS EVACUATE FB5 AS THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT BEGINS RENOVATION

Accountancy HND 1 students, users of Block FB5 at the North campus of the institution have evacuated the Lecture room for the commencement of renovation by the management of the institution on Monday 23rd of September, 2019.

This renovation which is a welcomed development came about sequel to the PRESS release on September 16, 2019 concerning the sorry state of the lecture room, the school management has figured out reasons to come to the aid of the lamenting students concerning the issue.

The ongoing renovation of the lecture room shows that the Management of the institution are concerned about the students’ welfarism. From the reports gathered, the Accountancy HND 1 students are hopeful the lecture room is back in good state before the commencement of the examination.

According to the information gathered by Press Council from one of the users of the classroom, Temitope said, “It was surprising coming here this morning with the sole intention of receiving lectures under the usual scary ceiling, but with the commencement of renovation in our class, our expectation was truncated with a positive response from the School management.”

“We are very glad that the school management has heeded to our cries, but one thing that seems blur to us is the time frame for the completion of the renovation.” She added.

“It is expected of us to be appreciative to the management for coming to our aid swiftly when in most times we thought we had feel neglected. But also we will like to implore the management on the quick execution sonwe could use the class room before the semester ends.” Oluwadamilola told PRESS COUNCIL.

In the light of the renovation of FB 5, the HND 1 students of Accountancy Department have moved to the ICAN Lecture Theatre, a more conducive environment, to receive their lectures.

Furthermore, the management are therefore implored to also look into some other classrooms which are in this similar sorry state, as conducive environment only brings about proper learning by the students.
